A summary compilation of ATPCO corporate and product news bulletins from the week ending 9 July.
9 July
- ATPCO issued a technical bulletin about a decimal change for carriers filing amounts in Mexican pesos. This change will affect ATPCO’s Fares, Automated Rules and Services Fees products and is in accordance with IATA recommendations.
8 July
- ATPCO has added new 900-series industry sub codes for cargo, baggage, and other transportation services in its Optional Services product. These codes have been reserved for uses such as in future Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs).
- ATPCO has added an Industry Sub Code for free baggage allowance to its Optional Services product. The sub code will be available for use upon implementation of ATPCO’s baggage solution in early 2011.
- ATPCO issued a milestone form regarding the status of its pre-reserved seating assignments project. This functionality is planned for implementation in 2011 as part of the Optional Services product.
7 July
- ATPCO distributed the updated list of Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs), as provided by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). PFCs can be collected for every enplaned passenger at commercial airports controlled by public agencies.
