SUNTEC CONVENTION CENTER, SINGAPORE – 26 February 2018 – ATPCO and their newly acquired subsidiary Routehappy, the industry standard for airline rich content, will make their public debut together tomorrow at the opening of the 2018 Aviation Festival Asia. Head of Research and Development Gianni Cataldo will take the stage with leaders from Lufthansa, AirAsia, and Alitalia to lead an in-depth conversation on the future of airline distribution, opportunities in airline merchandising, and the accelerating rate of NDC adoption.

According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), over 40 airlines have achieved NDC certification, demonstrating the ability to send and receive NDC messages. ATPCO’s recent acquisition of Routehappy comes at a time when the industry is seeing NDC Exchange, a community driven marketplace for NDC, gain traction in parallel. Jointly developed by ATPCO and SITA, NDC Exchange enables quick adoption of NDC and lowers the cost of compliance to the schema as airlines migrate to the new distribution format.

Cataldo will also be speaking with industry leaders and early-stage start-ups about Bridge Labs, ATPCO’s incubator for industry innovation. Bridge Labs launched in October 2017, and connects a community of young companies seeking establishment with the specialized expertise and global reach of the ATPCO platform, which includes over 430 airlines. Several travel technology start-ups have already been accepted and are ramping up within the program.
