ATPCO Hires Travel Executive Ailsa Brown to Strengthen EMEA Leadership and Aid Airlines’ Recovery

Former Travelport and Plusgrade Industry Leader joins ATPCO as Regional Director, EMEA

ATPCO announced a new addition to its leadership team, hiring industry veteran Ailsa Brown as the Regional Director, EMEA, to work with its partners in the region to unlock value in ATPCO’s pricing and retailing solutions. Bringing more than two decades of travel technology experience to the role, Brown will support the organization's vision to deliver more innovation, transformation and simplification driven by its new CEO Alex Zoghlin.

Brown will lead the organization’s commercial engagement with airline partners and distribution channels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Her work will include expanding Routehappy Rich Content partnerships, driving merchandized shopping displays, and delivering enhanced financial performance. Brown will also build on the recent acquisition of SITA’s Airfare Insight solution, growing the Architect community and enabling airlines to achieve their pricing excellence objectives.

With decades of experience, Brown’s most recent role was at Plusgrade, as the Vice President & General Manager Asia Pacific, Indian subcontinent, and Russia. There she was responsible for airline relationships, driving commercial performance, and delivering value in line with their strategy. Before that, she spent 14 years in senior leadership roles at Travelport, with a recent focus on mobile and digital transformation.

The Scotland native is looking forward to a new challenge with ATPCO. “With our industry facing the most challenging time of its existence, I’m laser-focused on adding value to our partners in a time when they need it most. The beauty of ATPCO is that, as a company, we are focused on delivering value to our community, and delivering solutions that impact our partners’ bottom line,” said Ailsa Brown, new Regional Director, EMEA, at ATPCO. “With a new CEO, a new direction towards simplification, and ATPCO’s focus on continuing its transformation, it feels like the right time to join the team.”

“We feel lucky to welcome Ailsa to the ATPCO team. Her extensive industry experience, customer-centric approach, and proven ability to help airlines optimize their revenue performance will contribute greatly to the pricing and retailing momentum ATPCO has established,” said Chris Phillips, Head of Global Sales & Accounts at ATPCO. “She is the right person to have in the driver’s seat to help further industry value through the adoption of ATPCO’s solutions as we help our partners navigate their recovery efforts.”

Brown commenced her role earlier this month and will report directly to Chris Phillips.
