Seat Infographics overview
Amenities rich content includes eight categories of manually researched data: Seat, Aircraft, Layout, Wi-Fi, Entertainment, Power, Food, and Beverage. The Seat data is paired with infographics and is available for download as a flat file for use by subscribed channels.
Amenities Seat Infographics Files
In the .zip file, there is an Excel Seat Infographic Mapping File (shown at left) which contains three columns of data: ID, Infographic IN File Name, and Infographic CM File Name. The ID (Column A) is important because it maps to the Routehappy Amenity API or the Seats.csv in the existing Amenities flat file solution. Details on how to map to an individual seat pitch are included in the next section.
In addition to the mapping file, 36 SVG files are included in the download. It is important to note that many Seat IDs will map to the same SVG Infographic file.
By clicking the button above and downloading Seat Infographics, your organization agrees to use the infographics in a manner consistent with all instructions provided herein and with the terms of a valid subscription agreement with ATPCO and/or Routehappy.
The Seat Infographics flat file needs to be used in conjunction with the Seat data returned in either the API or the flat file. The Seat Infographics flat file will provide the corresponding SVG filename. All SVGs are available in the downloadable .zip file.
Example: I want to display the Seat Infographic for 32” seat pitch or 81cm seat pitch.
Option 1: API
From the API response, find the ID for the desired Seat pitch and map it to the Amenity Seat Infographic file ID (Column A) to find the corresponding SVG filename. Use Infographic IN File Name (Column B) for inches or use Infographic CM File Name (Column C) for centimeters. In this case, use the “32in.svg” or “81cm.svg” file. All the SVG files are included in the downloadable .zip file.
Option 2: Amenity Flat File (Seats.csv)
In the seats.csv, find the ID (Column A) for the desired Seat pitch and map it to the Amenity Seat Infographic file ID (Column A) to find the corresponding SVG filename. Use Infographic IN File Name (Column B) for inches or use Infographic CM File Name (Column C) for centimeters. In this case, use the “32in.svg” or “81cm.svg” file. All the SVG files are included in the downloadable .zip file.
